Exam Cram provided an excellent review of nursing med/surg topics. The format the book is written in makes it easy to read and fun to read. I liked the practice questions at the end of each chapter and the 2 big practice tests that were at the end of the book. The book also comes with a sort of "cheat sheet" that provides normal lab values and acronyms to remember certain bits of info. Overall this is a great NCLEX study tool!

This is a good book for review. It doesn't have great question divide very general chapters not by system. Great 1st chapter on how to take NCLEX tests and question answering strategies.

It seems to me that this book was encoded by a non-medical layperson, because too many medical terms and drug names are misspelled. It may not be a big deal to some, but if a student is encountering these terms for the first time then they will end up remembering the wrong thing. I'm sorry but it really doesn't inspire confidence in the review material if you have to keep second guessing whether the information presented is correct.
